You can change your Wi-Fi details in your modem’s settings page:
- Connect a device to your Wi-Fi or by cable.
- Open a browser and enter the modem’s address printed on its label (often 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1).
- Log in with the admin password on the label.
- Open the Wireless or Wi-Fi settings, update the network name (SSID) and password, then save.
- Reconnect your devices using the new details.
Use WPA2 or WPA3 security and a password of at least 12 characters. Also change the modem’s admin password from the default.
